Lais Myrrha features in the 37th Panorama da Arte Brasileira: Sob as cinzas, brasa, curated by Critiana Tejo, Cauê Alves, Claudinei Roberto da Silva and Vanessa Davidson, at Museu de Arte Moderna in São Paulo.
The selection of works is guided by the tension of the different points of view of a possible symbology of the ember. The theme unfolds around the result of confronting barbarism and the friction that the search for plurality causes. The exhibition will feature works that revisit Brazilian history under new political and social perspectives, based on the diversity of gender identities, anti-racist struggles and the human relationship with the environment.
The exhibition will be on display from July 23, 2022, to January 15, 2023.
