“Bala” means bullet in spanish, “balar” means to “bleat”, like bleating sheep. “Balar” may alsorefer to the verb “shoot” and when shooting a sound is heard. While rolling along thefoor, themovement of a metal sphere inside an abandoned church is more than present, like a cannonballcausing a noise that spreads throughout the space, bleating in its own way, unfolding theimpossible and absurd situation. It is in this cinematic moment that the object becomes subject, autonomous, emancipated and separated from any external dependence, a short journey toquestion its existence, a short talk with the emptiness of space.
