Today in Miami, at Art Basel Miami Beach, will take place the launch of the book ''Remains–Tomorrow: Themes in Contemporary Latin American Abstraction'', edited by curator Cecilia Fajardo-Hill.
The curator's reserach shows us a very rich perspective on the dynamic field of contemporary abstraction in Latin America. Featuring Frederico Filippi and Rafael Alonso, the book explores different manifestations of post-1990 Latin American abstraction and their underlying relationships and differences from modern abstraction.
The unique polyphony and almost infinitely diverse artistic positions make this an indispensable reference book on Latin American abstraction which examine issues such as gender, interculturality and popular culture.
