Today, May 7, Rafael Alonso and Andrew Silva features in the exhibition ID, at Galeria Z42, Rio de Janeiro.
Together with Rafael and Andrew another six artists are participating on this group show, with works that represent a cut of the production of portrait painting of the 21st century, a genre of painting present throughout almost the entire History of Art. “The ID exhibition is an encounter with very different poetics, developed in the trajectories of each of these eight artists, almost all of whom live in the state of Rio de Janeiro”, says Christiane Laclau, curator of this group show.
